For children between the ages of 7 to 12 years old, and youths between 13 to 18 years old.
We offer a safe and non-judgemental environment to explore various experiences such as:
Anxiety and depression
Aggression and anger management issues
Emotional Regulation
Low self-esteem
Social challenges (e.g. bullying)
Stress
Trouble in adapting to change (e.g. parental separation / new school environment)
Self-harm
Grief/Loss
During sessions, our counsellors may engage your child through games and use play to assess and communicate with them where suitable. Methods such as drawing, journaling and, play can also be used to teach your child the necessary skills to address some of the issues they face. If the need arises we will also work closely with you the parents/guardians of the child and the school your child is from where possible.
We believe that it takes a village to raise a child and parents are one of the greatest support system for their child. We offer support for parenting concerns, understanding that parenting can be tricky to balance alongside other responsibilities. Our counsellors are ready to walk with you as you weave through these nuances in parenting to improve your relationship with your child.
